Ozanam Centre in North Wales Closed
It is with regret that the Trustees of the St Vincent de Paul Society have decided to close the Ozanam Centre North Wales with immediate effect. The Centre was due to cease trading at the end of August as it had ceased to be an economically viable operation for the Society. However this closure has been brought forward due to staffing difficulties.
The Centre has provided holidays for many years to a wide range of groups and families. The Centre has benefited from the enthusiasm, dedication and hard work of successive staff and volunteers. In particular, the trustees would like to pay tribute to Steve Whitley, the Centre Manager, who was tragically killed in a road accident in June of this year.
