School Groups

The Ozanam Centre is a brilliant place for a field-trip or activity holiday for a school group. There is a variety of educational activities nearby the Centre:

History: It is ideally located for visiting historical sites, such as a number of medieval castles with rich museums which are a very engaging way as concerns education of children.

Geography: A trip to the Snowdonia National Park is a good basis for any environmental fieldtrip.

Science: Visiting Electric Mountain – a hydro-electricity power station - will be invaluable in broadening the knowledge of how the water power can be harnessed.

Geology: A visit to Sygun Copper mine or Welsh Slate Museum might be a fantastic geology lesson.

Biology: There are several zoos for fauna lovers and plenty of amazing parks and gardens for flora exploration.

Physical education: There are several sport activity centres around the Ozanam Centre offering a variety of activities. The Ozanam Centre itself has a range of sports equipment.
